Home Renovation – Bolton

This home renovation project in Bolton involved adding a double extension to the detached house. We put in new attic trusses to enable a loft conversion, giving the house two additional bedrooms. The attic conversion also involved installing six Velox Roof Windows. We re-tiled the roof and installed new uPVC windows, doors, soffits, fascias and guttering around the house.

We did a full re- plaster and comprehensive electrical installation, including broadband internet cabling throughout the house. A new kitchen was installed and new doors, casings and skirting boards applied.

The house was totally re-rendered and new brick walls and pillars were built to the front of the house.

We installed a new heating boiler, radiators and pipework. We put in highly economic under-floor heating, which runs from the new boiler New en-suites were installed in two of the bedrooms, complete with high gloss porcelain floor tiles and marble shower cubicles tiles.

Double House Extension - Westhoughton.

For this complete double extension, the groundwork involved digging the footings and laying the new drains. We then built the walls up to DPC and laid the concrete floor We built up the extension to first storey and installed the lintel on padstones for the knock-through to the existing structure.

Next, we took the extension up to roof level and installed a tiled apex roof.
We erected studding walls and did first fix of joinery, then installed the first fix electrics and first fix of plumbing.

We installed all new windows and doors and rendered the front of the extension.
We plaster boarded and plastered all internal walls and completed the second fix of joinery, electrics and plumbing.
