The National Custom and Self Build Association (NaCSBA), has launched its ‘State of the Trade Survey’. The survey will collect evidence to present a case to the Government for additional support for the building sector. Information will be gathered from small construction businesses across the UK, drawing on their experience of how Covid19 has affected their sector. The initiative will be carried out by core industry stake holders such as the National Self Build and Renovation Centre, Build It magazine and Grand Designs magazine as well as NaCSBA .
The NaCSBA wants as many businesses as possible to complete the short survey, which will help to form a clear picture of the impact caused by the crisis. All data collected will be in the strictest confidence, and serves to ensure voices are heard in the right places. The NaCSBA also advise that due to the upturn in building work being undertaken, hire equipment and tools should should be booked far in advance of the date needed.
